Festive San Francisco Trip - December 9, 2018
Join us on a festive trip across the bay to San Francisco. We will take BART from the Rockridge station and will walk to Dim Sum, and then to ice skating at Union Square where we can enjoy the holiday lights. Join Mr. Smith for a guided East Bay Hills mountain bike excursion. The notorious West Ridge/East Ridge loop awaits you. From ethereal vistas and live oak canopies to the brutal climb that is the Canyon trail, as well as the thrill of dropping into "Little Moab," this ride reminds us of one of the compelling reasons that we live in Oaktown...access to the wild! Ride should take about 2 hours. Basic mountain biking skills required. You provide the bike, and Mr. Smith will provide the post-ride hot chocolate.
